Mimi L'Amour

Mimi L'Amour (most commonly known as Mia Venus) is a twenty-something ESL teacher with the word “believe” tattooed on her wrist and whose heart is forever stolen by a drummer.

She’s a professional bathroom singer masquerading as a salon owner and ESL teacher by day, a poet by night and a wanderlust on weekends.

A frustrated writer, she keeps this blog to record whatever she can scrape from all corners of her coffee-buzzed head. In addition, she loves to write short stories because anything that consists of multiple chapters is just too big of a commitment.

She is also a self-proclaimed makeup enthusiast, beauty junkie and a die-hard fan of the Beatles, Boy George (and Culture Club), Carpenters and Erasure.

She enjoys eating, running, going on random adventures with her best friends, watching rock concerts, reading novels, listening to music, re-watching random episodes (from all seasons) of How I Met Your Mother, Friends, and Family Guy during meal times and recreating Cher and Boy George looks.
